Auto Calculation (Popup) Settings
The Auto Calculation (Popup) setting lets users automatically calculate planned hours based on task duration.
- Step 1: Choose the project you want to configure and click the Settings icon.
- Step 2: Click on the Project Configuration tab.
- First, if Auto Calculation (Popup) Permission is Enabled.
- The system will calculate the planned hours using duration based on no. of days × 8 hours.
- And now, once the Auto Calculation (Popup) Permission is Disabled.
- The system will calculate the planned hours as a default of 8, and the manager can then enter the total manually, and it will affect the duration accordingly.
Conclusion:
The Auto Calculation (Popup) feature saves time by calculating planned hours automatically, while still giving managers flexibility to adjust hours when needed.
