Actual Hours Settings
The Actual Hours setting lets users enable tracking of the actual time spent on tasks.
- Step 1: Choose the project you want to configure and click the Settings icon.
- Step 2: Click on the Project Configuration tab.
- Now, if the Actual Hours permission is Enabled.
- The users will be able to add their actual hours and submit their worklogs to show their Actual time spent vs planned effort.
- But if the Actual Hours permission is Disabled.
- The worklogs and actual hour fields will be hidden in the task and only planned hours will be shown to the user.
Conclusion:
The Actual Hours feature provides visibility into real effort versus planned effort, helping managers track performance and manage resources effectively.
