Task Move Permission
The Task move Setting toggle controls whether tasks can be moved between swim lanes on the Kanban board.
Step 1: Choose the project you want to configure and click the Settings icon.
Step 2: Click on the Project Configuration tab.
Now if the Task move permission is toggled off.
- The task movement will be locked, and the tasks will remain fixed in their assigned lanes until the permission is turned on.
Step 3: To Enable Task Move:
- Go to Project Settings > Project Configuration and turn ON the Task Move toggle.
- Once done users can then freely drag and drop tasks between swim the lanes.
Conclusion:
The Task Move feature helps maintain flexibility in managing workflows, giving project managers control over how tasks are shifted between stages.
