User Permission Settings

QPunch lets you provide various authorizations to users that enables them to perform specific actions on the project. This documentation helps you understand how to set various user permissions in QPunch Smart Project Management Tool.

To set the User Permissions,

·       Click on the username icon on the top right corner of the QPunch home page

·       Choose Subscription Settings from the menu

  •  Navigate to User Permissions on the left side pane. Here you will find the name of the User, their corresponding project role and the various permissions that can be granted

 ·       Create Projects: provides the user permission to create a new project in their subscription. This button will be visible the QPunch home page

 ·       If the user does not possess this permission, the same button will be greyed out

·       Modify Projects: This permission allows users to modify the project settings. The icon is visible against the project in the QPunch home page

·       Once the permission is turned off, settings icon will no more be visible

 ·       Delete Projects: The permission lets user to delete a project from the subscription. The delete button will be visible inside the project settings.

·       If the user does not possess this permission, the same button will be greyed out

·       Manage Users: This permission lets you edit the details of other users in the project. To do that, navigate to Users tab in the left side pane

·       If the user do not have this permission, edit icon will be greyed out

·       Account Management: This permission allows user to set default values to any task created in the projects of that subscription. To set that, navigate to Default Settings in the left side pane

·       If the user do not have this permission, this page will be greyed out
